RPS-40th Anniversary Meet & Lunch 6/25/2016
We've celebrated our 40th Anniversary of the Riis Park Striders at the Saturday morning meet on June 25, 2016. The Club's start began on June 29, 1976. We honored Fearless Leader with gifts that many of you have contributed toward--organized expertly by Ken. Through Fearless Leader, we kept a consistency and dedication with running that will continue in years to come. We enjoyed seeing friends, Mike O'Dea, who traveled from St. Louis to be with us. Michelle and Bill Thom gave us some competition on our XC meet; Dave Cameron, "The Premier," ran and gave us a nice pic of Ian. Mike V kindly provided timings on this day, so that Fearless Leader could join us on XC. Some of us ended our meet by a lunch at Applebee's. Congratulations, RPS!
