2014 Discover Whitewater Series 5k
Runners and walkers stepped to the starting line on the DWS revised 5k course ready for action. Some light rain came in to cool off the fast runners and helped the walkers pick up the pace as stiff north winds kept everybody moving. Despite the less than perfect weather participants and volunteers were full of smiles and sharing conversation. I'm sure the 2nd annual DWS 5k helped set the stage for next year's 3rd annual 5k on 9/20.
