Description:
We're back!! Join us for the 39th running of the Poultry & Pie Predictor on Thanksgiving morning in beautiful Pilcher Park located in Joliet, IL. Predict your finish time for this 4-mile run and win a turkey or a pie! Forty prizes in all! The 15 runners or walkers closest to their pre-race predictions will get their choice of a turkey or a pie. The next 25 will choose from that which remains. No cheating! Put away your watches, smart phones, ipods, anything that helps you pace. You're on the honor system! The fun continues with our 1 Mile Kids race, which is set for 10:00AM. All finishers receive a medal. Our Toddler Gobbler 25-yd dash is FREE for children 5 & under. All races start and end at the Barber & Oberwortmann Horticultural Center at 227 Gougar Road, Joliet. There is race day registration, but pre-registration is strongly recommended. Plan to arrive early for the best parking.
