Viewing Run Report Title: Chicago Kilt Run - 3 Kilometers Date: Sunday September 19th, 2010 Author: Bill Thom 1st Annual Chicago Kilt Run In the week leading up to race day rain was in the forecast, but instead beautiful conditions materialized for the inaugural running of "Chicago Kilt Run"... a 3 kilometer run through the streets of Norwood Park, Chicago. This new race is the brainchild of director Neal Mcloughlin along with his race committee and team of enthusiastic volunteers. Funds were raised to help local charitable and fraternal organizations. Congratulations to Jim White and Stephanie Maisel of Chicago for finishing first in their respective gender divisions of the 3 Kilometer road race. Some 125 participants completed the Kilt Run... many adorned in kilts! Timing and finish-line scoring was provided by RunRace.net.
