Hicks Road in Palatine, IL. The 5K can be run or walked solo or as a 2 person team. Teams can be male, female, or mixed. To run or walk as a team, the two partners must each register separately and list their partner's name so that we can match you up in the results. The event is chip timed, with timely results published on the RunRace website. Long-sleeved technical shirts for all participants! Awards for the 5K event for first overall male and female and 1st and 2nd male and female in 5 year age groups. Teams of 2 scored with 20 year age groups and combined time. Awards for first and 2nd overall twosome, regardless of gender, in each of the 20 year age groups.
100% of the profit goes to Northwest Community Hospital's (NCH) Foundation to provide assistance for people diagnosed with lung cancer treated at NCH. In 2017, several patients living with lung cancer and their families have been helped with household expenses, rent or mortgage because of generous donations to the Lung Cancer Fund.
