Description:
The SRLA Beachcomber will start at 8am. The race start is on Vista del Mar and will finish inside of the parking lot/event staging area down near the beach. This is an out and back 10K so runners are encouraged to not crowd the start line and to stay to the right on the course (do not cross the center divider) so as not to impede oncoming runners.

Students Run LA uses the process of training for the Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon to teach our students how to set a goal and work hard to complete it. Over the 7-month training period the students learn how to transfer these skills into their education and their lives. This race (and SRLA in general) is not competitive. SRLA’s motto is “complete NOT compete.” So there will be no overall or age group awards for this race.
